If you take your dog on holiday and want to see them enjoying life - this is THE place. Seventy odd acres of woodland all for the occupants of the cottage... absolutely WONDERFUL.

A relaxing and hugely enjoyable holiday in a stunning, well appointed cottage, in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. An abundance of wildlife in the grounds of the property and surrounding areas. So much room to explore within the grounds and private woodland, and I have to say, the dog enjoyed his holiday as much as we did. Friendly, helpful owners. Lots to see and do in the area. We enjoyed the Gruffalo trail and Swaffham. Also several delicious meals at Brown's restaurant, which was a very pleasant surprise as the appearance from outside does not do it justice. Cannot wait to return to Forest Cottage! Thank you Paul and Vicki for a fantastic stay.

Unfortunately we were confronted with numerous ants when we arrived, alive & dead in the downstairs bathroom, shower, waste bin, hallway, main bedroom, ensuite. We were only there four nights & we ended up having to put my granddaughters playdo in the shower controls. The standard of cleanliness throughout the property was poor, dirty high chair, dog hair on upstairs rug, dirty grill pan, grease and dirt on kitchen blinds. It’s a real shame as we booked our Xmas break based on the previous good reviews. Hopefully the cottage will receive a thorough clean & maintenance in readiness for the next occupants.

Had a lovely Break at the cottage and enjoyed the freedom of the estate to wander round with the dog, who made lots of new friends (Horses in the paddocks). We visited in Autumn and the colour change of the leaves was particularly pleasing as was the wildlife. The Cottage is situated on a private estate about 4-5 miles from the nearest village and sits adjacent to the owners house, not that you ever seen or heard them. So as near to seclusion as you could possibly want

We really enjoyed our peaceful 4 night stay at forest cottage. The grounds are lovely and most appreciated by our 2 dogs. The furniture, linen and kitchen equipment are very good quality, although the bathroom doors could do with shutting properly. Unfortunately we went when a lot of nearby attractions were closed for winter (30/10 -3/11/17). Local shop was short drive away. Dog friendly attractions we went to were High lodge, Lynford Arboretum and old Hunstanton beach. The Crown Inn at Mundford is dog friendly inside and serves good food.
