Great cottage, size was great very close to the beach, close to shops grandchildren loved the place. Plenty of places to visit round the area. Larger shops in Dumfries

We had a great week at Firth Lodge and were would recommend both the lodge and the area. Our lower score for comfort and equipment reflects the minor issues previously brought up in the visitor book and haven't been addressed about there not being a wardrobe in the master bedroom and that the drinking glasses ,plates and mugs were only just enough for the number of guests so frequent washing up was the order of the week... We wish the owner every success in the future

A lovely cottage and the owners were very welcoming and helpful . We enjoyed a peaceful week although the weather wasn't good .we chose the cottage because I thought it was very close to shops eateries etc as. My husband needs a wheelchair ,As we are elderly I couldn't take him to the amenities as it was down a narrow lane .so had to use the car .unfortunately I fell and broke my wrist at the end of the holiday .Still I would book it again all being well in the future .No photos sorry

We had a lovely week at Firth Lodge. The cottage itself is spacious and modern. It was clean and had everything we needed. We wish we’d booked for 2 weeks instead of one and are already planning our next trip.

Lovely comfortable cottage a real home from home. It has everything you need for a perfect stay. Local shop on Main Street and a nisa store at bottom of the lane in the caravan park for your essentials. I would recommend this cottage if you are looking for a nice quiet relaxing holiday

A very comfy and spacious cottage. Close to beach and many local village amenities. Enclosed garden great for our dog. Reclining sofas a bonus! 1 mark off perfect only due to shortage of glasses and oven trays and nowhere to hang clothes in main bedroom..minor issues.
