The Stable is a beautiful stable conversion situated in a 23-acre private estate which boasts magnificent views of the countryside and private lakes. Located in a tranquil setting surrounded by rolling countryside, these wonderful family properties boast character and all the comforts for the perfect countryside holiday, including Wi-Fi for your convenience. Close to the borders of both mid and south Wales, the properties provide perfect accommodation ideally placed for exploring the dramatic Ceredigion coastline where bottlenose dolphins are often seen.
The picturesque fishing town of Aberaeron is only six miles away with its large harbour encased by pastel-shaded Georgian houses. A short drive inland leads to the rural and traditional towns of Lampeter and Tregaron, where the Welsh language is mostly used by the locals. Tregaron feels almost untouched by the 21st century and is a bastion of the Welsh language and culture. The river running through the town centre leads to Cors Caron, a national nature reserve of peat bog which is one of the most impressive wildlife areas in Wales; home to rare marsh grasses, black adders, buzzards and even the occasional red kite. A perfect opportunity to discover the real Wales. Shops 3 miles, pub in village.

The stables was great ,all the rooms and space was fantastic the grounds were amazing, the owner is lovely came round with fresh bread and jam, it would of been perfect if you could walk to a cafe or pub

Arrived 1hr early and received warm welcome. Property is generously proportioned for 6 adults and 4 young kids. Clearly built and equipped to high standard. Beds all good. Leather lounge sofas very generous for 10. Beautiful rural location and views. Caretaker didn’t return to check we were ok, as we were told she would but wasn’t a problem. There are 6 rented properties around a courtyard set in grounds that are generous but not as generous as the property particulars indicate as a large part is fenced (as are the ponds- ‘herons ate all the fish’) for cattle and sheep. Kitchen pretty well equipped but good job we took salt, pepper, tea towels etc. Bathrooms all good, excellent showers. We Made good use of hot tub and tennis court We rated it 8/10 and would have readily awarded a 10 but for : Welcome letter included a long agreement covering use of the hot tub including financial penalties for misuse. Felt this was heavy handed and inappropriate in our case given the hot tub was already damaged although fully working. One of the patio doors looks out over the attached property and unfortunately also their hot tub (privacy issues). TV controller doesn’t work properly. Many light bulbs not working including outside lights. Some of the crockery chipped Tennis equipment broken. Property details Didn’t volunteer info that need to take own kit (which we did but others didn’t).
