Located in a tranquil setting surrounded by rolling countryside, these wonderful family holiday properties boast character and all the comforts for the perfect countryside holiday.
Close to the borders of both mid and south Wales, the properties provide perfect accommodation ideally placed for exploring the dramatic Ceredigion coastline where bottlenose dolphins are often seen.
The picturesque fishing town of Aberaeron is only six miles away with shops and its large harbour encased by pastel-shaded Georgian houses. A short drive inland leads to the rural and traditional towns of Lampeter and Tregaron, where the Welsh language is mostly used by the locals. Tregaron feels almost untouched by the 21st century and is a bastion of the Welsh language and culture. The river running through the town centre leads to Cors Caron, a national nature reserve of peat bog which is one of the most impressive wildlife areas in Wales; home to rare marsh grasses, black adders, buzzards and even the occasional red kite. A perfect opportunity to discover the real Wales. Shops 3 miles, pub in village.

Really nice house, that’s been cleverly and considerately renovated as part of a small 5-6 holiday cottage development. The views are lovely and the owners have done a great job making the most of the cottage and it’s situation, giving it privacy and a really comfortable homely feel. The bedroom layout is well suited to an extended family group. With a double and twin bedroom sharing the family bathroom on one landing and a double bedroom with ensuite on the other landing. The master bedroom is in the middle and has two separate doors allowing access to both landings. The twin bedroom downstairs is slightly less practical as the downstairs bathroom is on far side of house. We found the area to be ideal for us (primary interest cycling round the local area). But some people might find local amenities on the light side - for many that lack of facilities may add to the property’s appeal. Owners were very helpful and accommodating. The cooker was broken on arrival and they did the best to get it fixed for us and gave us key to one of the other cottages so we could make use of the cooker there until ours was repaired. A slight pain that our cooker wasn’t fixed until last night but not the most disruptive challenge we’ve had to deal with in our travels. Didn’t make quite as much use of hot tub as hoped due to us having a toddler to look after but hot tub has a north easterly outlook that my wife reported as the finest spot to watch sunrise over the valley. All in all a great location if you are looking for remote peace and quiet.

Absolutely gorgeous place very spacious even with 8 adults & 2 children. The views are fabulous would definitely go back again.
