We had a lovely holiday. However on arrival there was a note left for us saying that a plumber was coming to mend a problem with the shower the next morning (sunday) when all we wanted after a long drive from Warwickshire was a shower. Nobody came to fix the shower. emailed owner to find out about the problem with the shower and could we use it, this was Saturday evening and never got a reply until Tuesday!! We used the shower no problems that we could see, however the toilet in the shower room seeped water through the bottom of the cupboard which boxed in the sink etc i hasten to add it wasnt waste water it was clean water.luckily there was another toilet in the property so we used that. I'm sure once the toilet problems are sorted which I guess have been done now.Everything else was great! Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay at Ffestiniog View, our second holiday here. Wonderful views from the balcony over the railway, the estuary to the mountains in the distance. The house is small, but fine for a holiday. It's in a very quiet area, the only noise at night is from the birds. Beds are comfy, kitchen is well equipped but note you need to bring everything with you as no basic foodstuffs are provided. Also worth bringing extra loo rolls. The house is a few minutes' walk from the High Street in Porthmadog, there is a handful of decent places to eat but it's definitely worth booking ahead if you can as places do get very busy - we saw walk-in customers turned away from every place we ate at. We definitely recommend this place for a holiday, especially if you like trains and/or bird watching.
