This delightful, semi-detached bungalow is situated in a very quiet street on the outskirts of Pitlochry, within a very pleasant walk of the famous fish ladder and renowned Pitlochry Festival Theatre. The attractive interior has been carefully furnished with calming woodland colours and is ideal for relaxing after a busy day out exploring the town and surroundings. Spacious and relaxing, the living room at the rear of the property features French doors opening onto a sunny decking area and enclosed garden, which in turn overlooks the river. Just imagine sitting out here on a sunny afternoon with a glass of something listening to the river running by!
There are many things of interest locally including walking, bicycle trails and fishing throughout the region, while the town of Pitlochry itself, just a 5-minute walk, is host to many exciting activities throughout the season, from the Festival Theatre, Salmon Ladder and Dam, to the Enchanted Forest in October. From here, a short drive will take you on to nearby distilleries of Blair Castle and the House of Bruar.
Travelling south, take in Dunkeld and Birnam and meet Mrs Tiggywinkle at the Beatrix Potter Exhibition and Garden. Further on, the fair city of Perth offers many historical attractions, including Scone Palace, and Huntingtower and Elcho castles. Golf is to be found throughout with 40 courses in Perthshire alone! Pony trekking, white water rafting and cycling are just some of the other outdoor activities available in the area, while wildlife lovers will have plenty of opportunities to spot native animals and birds.
