A beautiful though remote setting. Waking up to the countryside panorama was a real joy. However, with the remoteness comes the downside of travel (Snowdonia is an hour away), Bala 8 miles. Warm reception and the cottage was very comfortable and kitchen well equipped.

Fedwr Gog is a lovely quaint farming cottage in the heart of beautiful rural countryside. The views are fabulous and ones you would never tire of. The cottage has all the facilities that you need and is very spacious considering its age. It is clean and tidy and there are plenty of spaces to sit together, the sun room on the front is a lovely modern addition and was a great work space for us to work from our laptops - hot-spotting to a mobile is perfectly adequate, the signal was fine. The location is good if you want to visit the coast as well as more local sights. We visited Barmouth, Porthmadog and Llandudno, all about an hour away. The farming family are really lovely welcoming people and were keen for us to know that they were only a phone call away if we needed anything. All in all, a lovely relaxing holiday in lovely surroundings. Most importantly, the dog had a fabulous time!
