The property was very comfortable and quiet. We had all that we needed and although the local shops are limited it is very easy to get to Barnard Castle where there is a bigger selection. The owner was very helpful and took time to ensure that our stay was as good as we would have hoped it would be. Staindrop is lovely and the local teashop and restaurant was excellent.
