Spacious and full of charm, with no detail being overlooked, it offers beamed ceilings, wooden floors and a cosy wood burner. Set in a picturesque location at the end of a long drive, it is surrounded by 11 acres of farmland (part SSSI) and has been comfortably furnished and equipped. It adjoins, but is completely separate from Ffynnondewi Farmhouse; you can dine together in the large farmhouse kitchen, which is equipped to cater for both houses. The large, beamed living room is the perfect place to relax after a day on the beach or exploring the coastal path, has oak floors, wood burning stove, French windows opening onto the private rear wild garden and a feature oak staircase leading to a characterful twin bedroom, with double aspect views over the surrounding farmland. Off the living room is an en-suite single room, steeped in character with beams, exposed stone wall and rolling countryside views. The large, well-equipped, cottage-style kitchen/dining room has an island, modern appliances, beamed ceilings, slate floor and an exposed original stone wall, offering a warm welcoming ambience. The large farmhouse kitchen table is the hub of the cottage, fabulous for relaxing family meals together, whilst planning the next day’s excursions. All the peaceful bedrooms are beautifully appointed, nestling under beams, offering a tranquil pastoral aura, high quality cool crisp linen, fluffy towels, festooned with local Melin Tregwynt Welsh woollen cushions and throws, just perfect for a restful sleep after a day in the pure sea air. Great attention to detail pervades the cottage for guest’s comfort. The patio area is a real joy. Situated just outside the cottage in a quiet corner of the farmland, the views are breathtakingly beautiful, quality garden furniture and a barbecue provided. Perfect for the children and dogs to play in the rolling pasture before you.
