A lovely, comfortable and well equipped cottage. The owners were very helpful and the scones and jam were lovely! The lower rating on amenities is because there is no shop in the village, although there are supermarkets in nearby towns. The local pub is expensive but there are good ones within a few miles: the Moors Inn at Appleton was very good. Excellent walks from the cottage, particularly up the wooded valley.
