Spotlessly clean and very nice owners but the cottage was too ‘sterile’ for us. It was lacking homely touches (pictures, ornaments etc) and things for guests’ entertainment such as books, DVDs, games etc.

Very comfortable well kept cottage in a quiet location. Totally satisfied all our requirements. The Cock at Broom serves excellent draft beers and good home cooking. We suggest that you try the Dexter beef from the adjacent Parkside Farm Shop as the flavour is absolutely stunning. For any further comments refer to the visitors book.

We spent a lovely long weekend at Eventide in November 2017. We were 3 adults and 2 toddlers. The cottage was lovely and spotlessly clean with all the stuff you would need. There is a lovely farm shop next year and the children loved seeing all the animals outside and picking food inside. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The cottage is in a wee village in the countryside but is only 30 mins from Cambridge or 15 mins to a station where you can catch a train to London. We are hoping to come back in the summer.
