We arrived in heavy rain and proper paving to the door would be useful as very muddy. No logs had been left for us. The garden was very secure for our Collie dog. We enjoyed walking through the grounds down to the Mawddach trail every day. The Cottage was clean and comfortable and well equipped, plenty of games and books. The log burner kept us lovely and warm in the evenings. Lovely peaceful setting and lovely views, hope to visit again as we love the area.

I stayed here with my Wife for a weekend and although the stay was comfortable, we felt that the the reality of the cottage differed somewhat to the pictures on booking.com. Where the property is situated is fantastic, but the interior is somewhat dated. There is good selection of games/books etc, but the TV is a bit of a nightmare to use. We stayed in February when it is still fairly nippy at night and first thing even with the Storage heaters on. It was was therefore disappointing to see that there were no logs left for the wood stove as advertised. We paid a little extra for this cottage as the description and pictures sold it - made it look like the bees needs. However on reflection, given the competition, I would say that this was overpriced by about £80

We really enjoyed our stay at the old barn, but think it would benefit from a really good deep clean and some of its furnishings are a bit tired looking
