We always holiday in lovely cottages but this was, by far, our favourite. The "get away from it all" location is stunning, without being too far away from Hawes, which had all we needed. We arrived to find a warm, immaculate home from home, with everything we could have possibly needed and more. We stayed during a storm in which we didn't manage to get out on the worst day but we had a wonderfully cosy family day sat in front of the open fire playing games and looking through the amazing book collection! The house is lovely and spacious, we were a party of 3 generations and there was so much room for everyone. With walks from the door this was the perfect place for the perfect long weekend and we can not wait to return.

We love this cottage. Perfect if you want a cottage where you can relax or walk from the house. Not so good if you want to walk to the shop or pub. Highly recommend

excellent again -everything as last year -surfaces a little dusty but perhaps to be expected if unused for over a month.Slight problems with the garage combination lock-a bit stiff .For oldies like us the tech stuff to do with the tv is a bit daunting but we overcame some of it .Nice to have fresh milk and biscuits when we arrived. Many thanks

fabulous cottage in a sublime location. Totally away from it all with only sheep for company, yet only 15 minutes from the nearest town.

This is our 3rd stay in this cottage. It’s great for families (we go with another family) & there’s loads of room. Pretty much has everything you might need!

This is our second visit and despite its remote location our whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a quiet break away from the rat race
