Lovely cottage and helpful hosts. The gatehouse definitely has the wow factor. It is very spacious and immaculately clean. We loved everything about it from the fluffy towels, well equipped kitchen to large enclosed garden

We had such a lovely, relaxing weekend staying in the Gatehouse. It's beauitful inside and out, even nicer than the pictures! Lovely big garden and completely enclosed, so perfect for dogs. Cayton beach nearby is wonderful for a walk. Owners very friendly and on hand should you need anything. I would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Wonderful accommodation, lovely Victorian house with modern orangery extension, which opens up into the large walled secure back garden. Ideal for keeping children or dogs safe. Very much a sun trap. Very well equipped house. Photos do not do this house justice. Main bathroom fab, free standing bath, walk in shower with under floor heating. Towels are so soft. King size 4 poster we found soft and comfortable. Daughter found single bed a little hard. But everyone has different preferences of mattresses. Turn left and short walk into village for shops and pubs. 1.5 miles walk to beach, very steep walk down to beach, and I live in Yorkshire and used to hills. Turn right and another pub in next village and 2 mile walk to beach and start of Cleveland Way cliff top walk. Drove to Filey beach most of the time. Would I go back? Yes, I would even buy the house if I could.
