What a lovely cottage. Great location dogs loved the daily walks on the beach. We had an awesome family Christmas away from the usual hussle and bussle. Everything has been thought of, attention to detail was beyond expectations. Stayed in a few rentals and the kitchen is always short of something. Eastwyn provided those extras that are not usually supplied.

We enjoyed out time at Eastwyn! It is a good place to be with dogs and to relax a bit from everyday life! Although we mostly gave 7 points, we would recommend this cottage to anybody who would like to spend their time by the sea and enjoy long walks. The host Lisa is a wonderful person and cared very much about our well-being. The heating broke down and Lisa reacted right away and made our days in Winterton very special!

Perfect for what we wanted - centre of the village, close to the beach, very clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful.

Eastwyn is ideally situated, within an extremely short walk of the village post office, shops and pub, and of course the dunes and beach. The cottage is comfortable and well appointed, and the owners very welcoming and friendly - as was everyone we met in the village. And Winterton-on-Sea itself is such a lovely relaxed place - without the crowds of other seaside towards. Ideal for families and a great place for dog owners, with so many wonderful walks.

Winterton on Sea is an absolute gem of a place. An extremely attractive village - by far the best we saw on this coast. Very close to the beach and with quaint roads to walk round on an evening. We were blessed with good weather which is always helpful. The cottage has a beautiful village green opposite beautifully kept with flower beds and benches. Eastwyn itself is in a good location but be very careful when exiting the garden because it is straight out onto the road. The road is a dead end so not too much traffic. The house is spacious and was very clean. All we could hope for. Wish it had a better area out the back where we could sit in the evening but we just went across to the village green or down to the beach - only minutes away. The village has a shop for necessities and a post office and a dog friendly pub as well as a very popular fish and chip shop. The owner lives next door and is a very helpful and jolly lady. Walk along the beach for a couple of miles to see an amazing number of seals basking in the sun and your are only a few miles from excellent walks on the Norfolk Broads at Acle and Upton. Would highly recommend Eastwyn and Winterton on sea

Lovely little cottage and lovely location. Lisa made us feel very welcome. We had a great week even though the weather wasn’t the best. Our dog had the best time on the beach and dunes and was made to feel so welcome in the cottage and local pub. Would definitely go back.
