Winterton on Sea is an absolute gem of a place. An extremely attractive village - by far the best we saw on this coast. Very close to the beach and with quaint roads to walk round on an evening. We were blessed with good weather which is always helpful. The cottage has a beautiful village green opposite beautifully kept with flower beds and benches. Eastwyn itself is in a good location but be very careful when exiting the garden because it is straight out onto the road. The road is a dead end so not too much traffic. The house is spacious and was very clean. All we could hope for. Wish it had a better area out the back where we could sit in the evening but we just went across to the village green or down to the beach - only minutes away. The village has a shop for necessities and a post office and a dog friendly pub as well as a very popular fish and chip shop. The owner lives next door and is a very helpful and jolly lady. Walk along the beach for a couple of miles to see an amazing number of seals basking in the sun and your are only a few miles from excellent walks on the Norfolk Broads at Acle and Upton. Would highly recommend Eastwyn and Winterton on sea

Lovely little cottage and lovely location. Lisa made us feel very welcome. We had a great week even though the weather wasn’t the best. Our dog had the best time on the beach and dunes and was made to feel so welcome in the cottage and local pub. Would definitely go back.

Had a lovely holiday in Eastwyn, the owner Sarah was so friendly, shown us round and anything we needed she was there. The cottage was so comfortable so homely, my little dog loved it. You are so close to the beach and dunes, local chippy is just so delicious, the fisherman’s return is an excellent pub, the meals sublime, visited it many times over the years, would definitely recommend, not far from anything

What an absolute gem!! Found this cottage for a short week-end break and needed somewhere dog friendly - and this was perfect. A lovely warm welcome from Lisa, and a mini tour round the cottage to show us where everything was - plus details of all the local amenities. The pub is literally about 3 minutes walk from the cottage, is dog friendly and serves wonderful food - no need to book either. The beach is no more than 5 or 6 minutes walk away - and what a fantastic beach too!! Miles & miles of wide sandy beach, and just behind the dunes a wonderful Norfolk Coastal path walk too. The cottage had everything we needed for our get-away-from-it-all week-end, was very clean, warm and well equipped. No hesitation in recommending Eastwyn, and will certainly go back again.
