Clean, comfortable, everything you need apart from wifi or phone signal, but no harm going with out that for a week while in the cottage. Fitted with all equipment needed. Could have left a lot of things we bought with us at home. Great location if you want quietness, stunning, beautiful views & enjoy farming life being surrounded by sheep & cows. Lovely watching calves feeding from their mums from our window. Loved our stay here. Owners helpful & friendly.

The Aldersons were friendly and helpful, thoughtful little touches like the jug of milk and 4 lovely cakes waiting for us in the fridge plus a vase of flowers. However, although the Aldersons were a really nice couple and the cottages location was georgeous, there was no private patio with furniture, the photograph shown was actually the owners, not for our use. I repeat no " private patio with garden furniture". This last feature was most important as we had our little dog with us and ultimately had to keep him on his lead unless we were inside the cottage.
