Wonderfully tranquil and stunning location. Fairly remote to busier holiday stays, which is what we wanted. Cottage was adorable, cozy and warm. Felt like home.

It was a lovely cottage but chairs were uncomfortable to sit on. The heating did not work very well so it never got very warm. We were not told there was no phone signal so we had to travel to find a phone.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your review, I’m glad you thought the cottage was lovely. The chairs are under 12 months old. I’m sorry they did not suit you. I have looked at the heating and it is all working efficiently. If you had of called whilst there, this could have been rectified immediately. Unfortunately due to the area, phone signal can vary. EE is the best provider for signal in this area. Despite these issues, I hope you enjoyed your stay.

Excellent location. Clean and easy to use. 4'6" bed too small for couple. A 5' would fit easily, even 6'. Lack of summer duvet made for sweaty nights: a 6 tog costs a mere £12 from Lidl so what's stopping you? Small dishwasher would also fit easily and help the holiday feeling. Newer TV after last one died noted, but still very small -- 32" would be barely adequate, not 26" as now. Kitchen equipment is very basic, maybe to encourage eating out or keep the electricity bill down (or both) but even a wok should be there.
