Duchess House is a luxury dog-friendly holiday cottage set over two floors in the peaceful hamlet of Dukesfield, just a five-minute drive or 20-minute walk from the historic village of Bamburgh. The ground floor comprises a bathroom with a toilet and hand basin, an open-plan lounge with a built-in log burner, wall-mounted Smart TV, coffee table, and ambient lighting, with bi-fold doors offering uninterrupted views of the garden and surrounding countryside, and an open-plan kitchen and dining area featuring a large marble island with an integrated induction hob, double sink, and two dishwashers, modern units with double electric ovens and warming drawer, American fridge/freezer, microwave, and a large marble dining table comfortably seating all guests, plus a utility cupboard housing a washing machine and dryer. Bedroom 1 on the ground floor boasts a super-king-size bed, wardrobe, Smart TV, chest of drawers, occasional chairs, bedside tables, reading lamps, and double doors to the garden, with an en-suite comprising a walk-in shower, toilet, hand basin, and mirrored vanity unit. The first floor has three further bedrooms: Bedroom 2 with a king-size bed, open wardrobe, chest of drawers, Smart TV, bedside tables, reading lamp, and en-suite shower, toilet, and hand basin; Bedrooms 3 and 4 both have super-king beds, wardrobes, bedside tables, reading lamps, and en-suite showers with toilet and hand basin. Outside, guests can enjoy a private enclosed garden and patio with countryside views, a private hot tub, outdoor furniture, and lighting, along with access to shared facilities including a central courtyard, barbecue, tennis courts, communal hot tub, gym, and children’s play area, with parking for four cars and additional on-site spaces. Guests may bring up to three pets for an additional fee. Alongside the private garden, there is a shared paddocked area, tennis court, newly built gym, and communal hot tub. The Gathering Place, a renovated detached farm building, features a Wii and table tennis table and can host dinner parties for up to 24 guests. All Bamburgh First properties include Netflix, a portable Bose Bluetooth speaker, easy-lighting fire logs, board games, a hand-selected welcome pack, and a voucher for one pound of Bamburgh Banger sausages. Guests can enjoy up to two free rounds of golf for two people per property and/or a complimentary game of tennis on the village green. Duchess House provides a peaceful, luxurious retreat ideal for creating lasting memories with friends and family, with convenient access to Bamburgh village, its castle, sandy beaches, shops, pubs, restaurants, cafés, and scenic golf course.
