This 1st & 2nd floor apartment is located in the harbour town of Porthmadog and is within walking distance of the High Street and Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Steam Railway, a must visit for families and rail enthusiasts alike. You are also within easy reach of Black Rock Sands where you’ll find miles of sweeping sands and dunes, and Portmeirion is a short drive down the road, an enchanting Italian-style village is a must visit whilst in the area. The Llŷn Peninsula is an unspoilt, designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with miles of coastal and mountain walks to explore. There is wildlife in abundance, pods of dolphins, seals, and birdlife to spot. Nearby Pwllheli has a golf club, plenty of shops to browse around, and a large beach.
For history enthusiasts, a short drive down the coast is the imposing Harlech Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Inland is Blaenau Ffestiniog, an adrenaline junkie’s delight with Zip World, the largest zip wire zone in the world, Bounce Below, where you can bounce on trampoline nets deep underground in an old slate cavern, and the Stiniog downhill mountain bike trails. The area has something for everyone of all ages, from scenic walking routes, and bike trails, to a whole host of water sports on offer.
