This was a family gathering of cousins from Canada, Northampton and Leeds. The intention was to stay in a cottage in the 'heart of the Yorkshire Dales' a place loved by our late parents and ourselves. Dipper Fold fulfilled what we wanted perfectly. The fresh milk and homemade cookies on our arrival was appreciated.

Really lovely comfortable and well equipped place perfect for a large group set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Our adult group of 7 really enjoyed our stay. A few minor gripes. Some found the mattresses a little soft, the fridge has no containers in its door for bottles etc, the oven never got really hot and the hot water is scalding. However, these didn’t spoil our stay and the other characteristics of the house made up for these.

Enjoyed the short break with the family, location ideal for walking. The cottage suited the needs of all of us of varying ages, it was very clean and well equipped. Parking was good. We had to be careful though of the very hot water! Thank you for the welcome biscuits and milk.

Five of us enjoyed a two night break in this spacious and warm cottage. Very clean and well-equipped, brilliant central heating. Owner v friendly on phone and kindly left us milk and home made biscuits. We were “blessed” with torrential rain, local flooded roads and some snow. We will probably return to Dipper Fold and hope for much better weather!

Fantastic cottage for a large gathering. Very homely and warm and cosy. Plenty of crockery cutlery glasses you name it. Spotlessly clean. Would definitely return again. The surroundings are beautiful, we came in rain Friday, Saturday brought sunshine and we left in snow Sunday. We saw the area in all seasons in one weekend

A group of us enjoyed a fabulous weekend at Dipper Fold. The house has just everything you need and is warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. It’s position close to Grassington and Burnsall allowed us to enjoy walking in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. It is my second visit and I would have no hesitation in recommending it for anyone wanting to spend time in this beautiful part of the world.

Spacious, well equipped and perfect to relax and feel at home. Not the most modern or up to date cottage but this meant we could relax and ‘put our feet up’ without any worries. Excellent value for money. Only negative if we have to give one is that from the pictures we through it would be a little more ‘out of the way’ rather then in the village.

This cottage was perfect for a group - we were 5 couples meeting for a birthday celebration. Very spacious bedrooms and living room, table for 10 and great location - a couple of miles walk along into Grassington and a fabulous local pub which we ate in on the Saturday night. All in all, a lovely spot to stay.
