Great location, very friendly helpful locals. Could do with new bedding as some of it looked very grey despite being clean. Great having twin rooms as makes it a lot more flexible. Would definitely recommend as perfect location.

The sofas in the lounge are uncomfortable and the room is over crowded. One fridge is not sufficient for 10 people, there were no door racks in the fridge so valuable space was taken with milk bottles. Kitchen equipment was only just adequate. The quilt covers were dated and the pillows were flat and needed replacing. There was no WIFI - in this day and age it isn’t acceptable. There wasn’t any spare toilet rolls, we had to go and buy more. Central heating worked well and the property was nice and warm. Dipper Fold is a little dated and would be improved with ‘freshening up’.

The cottage is located in a fabulous location with beautiful walks from the doorstep. We particularly enjoyed the walk to grassington along the river - you may need to ask a local to point you in the right direction. A friendly pub in the village next to what appreared to be the shop but which we didn't see open during the four days we were there. Definitely worth a trip to Malham, grassington and brimham rocks is a must for children. Opposite is the old school tea room which offers excellent service and delicious, plentiful food at reasonable prices. Cottage kitchen was well equipped , beds comfortable , showers forceful and plenty of space all round. I would echo others comments that it was looking tired in places but functional and perfect for a holiday base. A minor point if you're taking pets - the garden/ driveway isn't fully enclosed in that small or determined dogs would get under the gate. No wifi which was a downside but rectified by the children using my hotspot / buying more data.
