The surrounding area is a nature lover’s paradise, with several lochs close by offering excellent fishing and bird-watching opportunities, and much indigenous flora and fauna. Inverness 17 miles. Shops 6 miles, pub 1 mile.

    A really nice place, set in idyllic countryside. The major drawback was the lack of WiFi in a house where there is no mobile phone signal for miles around. We needed access to emails and internet search facilities while there, and had to travel miles to get a signal. The second bugbear was to be lured in by a “pets welcome” policy, only to find there is a list of rules at the property which our dogs are not used to. What should have been a relaxing stay was spent making sure the dogs stayed in designated areas.

    Loved staying at Dhuallow and the fact we can bring our dogs just adds joy to the holiday. Loads of fantastic places to visit all within a few hours drive.

    We really enjoyed our stay at Dhuallow. It is situated in a very peaceful glen, with lovely views. Garden and small wooded area completely enclosed, so ideal for dogs and kids to run about. Yes, it could do with a bit of updating and there's no wi-fi but that didn't affect our enjoyment. Beds very comfortable and no issue with hot water as mentioned in previous reviews. We would stay there again.

    Overall a lovely stay. Fantastic location in a stunning setting against a backdrop of mountains. Inside, loved the AGA and the space! For a family of four plus grandparents it was ideal. My only issue was the dated decor: I.e carpeted bathrooms! A few tired bits of furniture. You also need to boost the hot water at night which increases the electricity cost but the rental is excellent value so overall excellent value for money. The amenities, I.e, the nearest shop is very far away but for us that was the point of this holiday! Only 25 mins to Inverness, Loch Ness visible after a short drive too. Peace and quiet with just the sound of sheep, pheasants and other wildlife. Great holiday.

    Had a lovely two week stay at the cottage, amazing scenery, lovely and cosy with the open fire and very spacious rooms. Set in a large open area surrounded by nature where we saw deer, hares, rabbits and birds daily.
