We really enjoyed our stay at Dhuallow. It is situated in a very peaceful glen, with lovely views. Garden and small wooded area completely enclosed, so ideal for dogs and kids to run about. Yes, it could do with a bit of updating and there's no wi-fi but that didn't affect our enjoyment. Beds very comfortable and no issue with hot water as mentioned in previous reviews. We would stay there again.

Overall a lovely stay. Fantastic location in a stunning setting against a backdrop of mountains. Inside, loved the AGA and the space! For a family of four plus grandparents it was ideal. My only issue was the dated decor: I.e carpeted bathrooms! A few tired bits of furniture. You also need to boost the hot water at night which increases the electricity cost but the rental is excellent value so overall excellent value for money. The amenities, I.e, the nearest shop is very far away but for us that was the point of this holiday! Only 25 mins to Inverness, Loch Ness visible after a short drive too. Peace and quiet with just the sound of sheep, pheasants and other wildlife. Great holiday.

Had a lovely two week stay at the cottage, amazing scenery, lovely and cosy with the open fire and very spacious rooms. Set in a large open area surrounded by nature where we saw deer, hares, rabbits and birds daily.

Great place. A bit worn but great for us with Children. Bathrooms could do with a bit of tweaking and maybe broadband. Will be booking again soon.

Our 5th time at Dhuallow. There is no mobile signal or Wi-Fi. Enjoyed the peace and love the gas aga and log fire.

5th time in this property, will defiantly be booking again. Say this every year - could do with a WiFi connection (but won’t stop us booking again)

We have stayed at Dhuallow twice now and have enjoyed every minute. The house itself is very comfortable and very cosy. Our party consists of six adults ,three children and two dogs. The garden is fully enclosed and is very safe for the children and the dogs. For any new visitors I will leave a few tips . These hints are in no way a criticism of the property or the location. Firstly the location of the property is on the outside of a small village and the next door neighbour is a working farm , yes you will hear the cattle . The property has no WIFI connection at all and the television has a very limited choice of channels. This is one of the reasons we love this place it is indeed total relaxation. The nearest shop ( not within walking distance) ,is a small village business , stocking all the essentials, however the nearest supermarket is a ten, possible fifteen minute drive away. We usually shop before we go we have found it works well this way. I'm going to say a little about the hot water situation. Owing to the size of our party , we found that we had to use the booster for hot water every day . Our electricity bill was minimal so it's not really an issue . I'm stating this purely as a hint for larger groups visiting the property. Overall the property is a real gem and our family really love it there. The visitor attractions are around fifteen minutes to an hour drive away depending of course where you are going . We have visited Skye, Inverness ,Cromarty, Fort William and Oban during our stays at the property. It is a good base for doing some exploring. If you are looking for a total chill out in beautiful surroundings then this is the place for you . We will definitely return in the future.
