We had a lovely stay at this cottage which was clean and comfortable and set in beautiful surroundings. It is just a short drive to the East coast and there are plenty of inland places to visit too. The hamlet Derwent Cottage is in, is isolated but that is what we wanted and there were plenty of places to eat nearby. Our exhaust went when we were there and the local garage came to our rescue and fixed it in no time at all, when bigger garages couldn't get the part! The owners of Derwent Cottage were very friendly but also left us to our own devices - the wine, beer and biscuits were very welcome.
