An excellent house for our party of six. Handy for walking in the Esk Valley, on the Moors or along the coast. Well equipped with plenty of space.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful area of the country Could do with a few more bits and bobs in the kitchen eg for baking Couldn’t use the stove in the lounge as it apparently doesn’t draw properly, however the kitchen stove was lovely. Some of the decor is a bit dated but overall in good condition. Owners were lovely Great value for such a roomy house, great for groups to spread out and relax Garden is great, conservatory also fab. Pub, railway station and post office/store in walking distance but still a very rural location

The cottage was a lovely place to stay and was well heated! As a group we appreciated the wifi and comfort of the rooms. It would be really useful if some little extras such as cling film were readily available in the cottage.

Beautiful and very well equipped spacious holiday home. Our party ranged from 60 plus years down to 7 years and all were equally delighted with the property. The children spent most evenings playing hide and seek and in the garden. Lovely terrace area to sit and enjoy a drink on while listening to the sheep, would very much like to visit again one day. A great place for some family time and entertaining and only a short run to Whitby and Robin Hoods bay. Lovely friendly host too. Happy to recommend to friends and family.
