We spent a very nice week at Damson Cottage in Chetton. The owners Brian and Julia were very nice and helped us with suggestions of places to visit. We visited several National Trust properties in the local area and in Wales. There were good local restaurants near the village and in the nearby town of Bridgnorth.

The cottage was even better than we expected, warm, comfortable and very well equipped. It was in a lovely rural setting but still very convenient for all the places we wanted to visit in Shropshire.

Everything in the cottage you are likely to need for your stay, nice well equipped little kitchen with a lovely sun lounge overlooking a garden stocked with a wealth of mature trees and plants. If you are seeking a peaceful retreat this is an ideal place to stay! The owners were helpful but unobtrusive!

Lovely exceptionally well-equipped cottage in a very quiet rural location. We would have liked to be able to walk to a pub from the door and also find closer access to footpaths, but apart from that, this was an ideal place for a restful holiday. Can recommend spending a day in the very interesting Bridgnorth (about 10 mins drive) and also taking the steam railway from there. The owners were friendly, helpful and unobtrusive.
