A lovely dog friendly cottage with safe, enclosed and very pretty garden with two seating areas, one for morning sun and the other evening sun. The cottage has everything we needed and is very beautifully decorated and equipped. Our host Mrs Palmer was very welcoming and helpful, accommodating our grandson at the beginning and end of the week’s stay making our number on two nights 5 plus dog. Local pubs were very good. The Farmers Arms and Hatch Inn our favourites. Very close to Taunton and Kings College School where our grandson was playing in a cricket festival. An easy drive through the lanes. We would love to return to enjoy the local area and walks as we did not have much time to explore as we spent the days at cricket! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A really lovely cottage. Very well equipped with quality furnishing, appliances and equipment It is clear that the owners have invested a lot of time, effort and thought into every aspect of the cottage. The garden was the icing on the cake! We all had a great break there and would not hesitate to recommend, especially to dog owners.

This break was one of the best we have ever had. The cottage is just wonderful there is everything you need & more. Mark & Mary the owners have thought of all you would need not just for us humans but for dogs as well. The garden is great our chocolate labrador loved it. The cottage is homely and inviting the photos do not do it justice it takes your breath away when you walk in. There are lots of lovely walks with bickenhall woods a short stroll away. If you want to escape the hustle & bustle of life then this is the place to come, we loved it so much we are going back to spend our 20th wedding anniversary here. Thank you both so much you have a truly special cottage. Oh and the bed is really comfortable.

Fantastic cottage, our host could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. Very pet friendly, they made our two Border Terriers feel very at home. We went in the snow and looked forward returning to a lovely fire each night. The dogs were free to roam in the garden. Very pleasant stay. Will definitely go back. Thank you.

Exactly what was required, a delightful cottage with wonderful hosts in Mary and Mark were nothing was to much trouble, we were all made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. All of us would have no hesitation in staying there again or recommending to others, which we’ve already done.
