We had a lovely time here. Beautiful cottage with a gorgeous garden.. cottage was clean, comfortable and most importantly very dog friendly.. beds, bowls and treats were available for my dogs and a special poo bin for them! The beds were very comfortable and it was a bonus having to king size beds.. I would highly recommend this cottage. Very peaceful location but within driving distance to shops and pubs. The owner was friendly and helpful,I highly recommend her apple juice, which she makes herself. It was lovely.

We run our own business and we were in need of a bit of R&R this Easter and could have not picked a better place. Comfortable, clean, just absolutely fabulous. Lovely owner as well who could not do enough. We will be back.

Overall we enjoyed our trip at Dairy House Farm in March 2019. The cottage is lovely and spacious, with two great sized and beautifully decorated double rooms. The kitchen is also clean and tidy, though unfortunately there was no tea or coffee, milk, sugar etc. provided, so make sure you bring you own. The lounge was comfy, with two sofas and a lovely log fire which the owner had prepped for us in advance. The local area is nice and there are a few great pubs a short drive away. Unfortunately part of our time and enjoyment was overshadowed by the noise of the owner’s barking dogs. Because of the layout of the property, you walk past the owner’s waist height garden gate on the way to the front door of the cottage and for us, this meant lots of barking ensued as the dogs were able to head out via a dog flap. Although friendly, they were very noisy and quite overbearing. Unfortunately the barking didn’t stop there and we spent around 3 hours of our first night listening to the dogs barking in an adjoining room (the property and the owner’s house are joined). We mentioned the barking to the owner first thing the following morning and it was clear that she hadn’t realised, as she’d gone out for the evening. To her credit, from that point it did improve and the barking was much rarer from within the house, however the outside barking continued each time we came and left the cottage. Hopefully this is just a one off experience, though I thought it worth noting as for us it affected the relaxation levels of our stay. Overall I’d say that if you’re not overly dog friendly or have a dog that is shy or easily spooked, this wouldn’t be the cottage for you. If you’re happy to mention noise levels to the owner should they be a problem, then the cottage was otherwise great and might be worth a try.

Just my husband and I enjoying a 4 day break at dairy farm cottage. Beautiful and comfortable cottage. Stairs are very quirky and original for the age of the cottage. Lovely garden with plenty of seati g to enjoy the garden in the sun all day if you wish. Welcoming and pleasant host plus 3 very cute dogs. Nice area with easy drive to glastonbury, Wells, Taunton with places to visit inbetween. We were very fortunate as the weather was beautiful for the end of march so after being out we could enjoy and relax in the garden until the sun went down. No negatives at all. Thankyou.

The property was tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. Both of the double bedrooms are large and spacious. We found the beds to be very comfortable. The bathroom has been tastefully refurbished - the shower and sink both have great water pressure. The kitchen has very good equipment. The fridge/freezer is large. The dishwasher and washing machine both worked well. However, you will need to bring all of your consumables with you. Most cottages we've been to (through this website) provided things like dishwasher tablets, but we had to buy our own. Not a problem, but it's worth coming with a big bag of everything that you will need. The welcome pack comprised of some instant coffee, tea and sugar (but no milk) plus three biscuits for our dog. As this is a restored old property, be aware that there are quite a few low ceilings, low door frames - and sloping walls in one of the bedrooms. If you're an average height man, you will almost certainly bash your head a couple of times. If you're tall, you may be in trouble. I suspect that if you're over 6 feet 2 or 6 feet 4, you may not actually be able to stand up entirely straigtht in the kitchen? The property adjoins the owners' property and is actually connected through two partitions and one interior door. From the lounge where we stayed, we could often hear the owners' dogs barking and even occasionally the owner speaking to their Amazon Alexa. We also heard loud drilling and thumping (hammering?) on several days. If you do not like vocal dogs, then this may not be the property for you. The owners have three dogs including one quite young puppy. At least two of the dogs are quite excitable. Overall, we had a lovely time. The property is spacious, comfortable and clean. The only things that may put some people off are the thin partitions and the occasional noise from the owners and dogs through the partitions.

This cottage is by far one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. It is beautifully furnished and equipped with lovely quality bath towels and bedding, a lovely kitchen with everything you could need. The fridge/freezer looked new. Everywhere is so clean. It was more spacious than we had anticipated from the photos. We had a warm welcome from the owners, they made us feel at home and were very kind. Our dogs were also welcomed, the cottage really is more than dog friendly. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay and would definitely recommend this cottage. Fabulous!

This is the second time we have stayed here and I love it. So comfortable and practical with the dogs. It has everything you need and Mary and Mark are so friendly. We were there over Christmas and they had put up a tree and decorated the house. So lovely. Thank you. I am sure I will go back at some stage this year.
