A gorgeous wee cottage. Not that wee really! We fit 7 adults and a toddler in very comfortably for 3 nights. It was wee enough to feel cosy and big enough to not feel like anyone was encroaching on anyone's space and our toddler was never woken up by the adult evening revelry and we don't think she woke anyone up with her early morning fun. It's well located for walks (Puck's Glen is stunning) and swims (swimming off the beach north of Ardentinny was fantastic), both only a short drive away and the views over the loch from the front room whilst cuddled up warm by the fire made late afternoons/evenings really special. The cottage is well equipped and we felt truly welcomed with the firewood, biscuits and bottle of wine (thank you!) left in the porch for us. There's a Morrisons and a Coop 20 only mins drive away in Dunoon and the petrol station is only a ten min drive for top up supplies. The only weirdness was the local pub in Kilmun which made us outsiders stand out in the bucketing rain for 10 minutes until opening at 4pm but was very happy to let in the local old boys through the back door. But we would stay there again in a flash.

Great cottage and location within a friendly community. Ample space within the property and a lot of activities in short distance. Only hiccup is the damp and associated smell evident on the property and the necessary update on pans and pots (for the self-catering).
