Excellent cottage. Suited our party of 5 adults and 3 kids. Living room and garden a bit on the small side but worked well for the week.

Beautiful cottage, very warm.lovely coal fire and raeburn oven.fantastic location, stunning views. One of double beds had a uncomfortable mattress and not enough kitchen utensils but that’s all we can complain about. All the family felt it was a lovely place for a holiday.

This was our second stay at Crown Gardens, when we stayed there last the pub opposite was open which done great food, however this time it was closed so we used the pub around the corner which also served good food and was welcoming. The difference in the house this time was the water heating system, a large tank has been moved to a cupboard in the main bedroom which was very noisy and kept not only the occupants in the main bedroom awake but was loud enough to affect people in the other bedrooms. Otherwise everything is fine, it is a spacious cottage and well appointed, if a little warm due to the Rayburn on permanently in the kitchen.
