Tucked away in a wooded valley at the head of a tidal creek running up from the Camel River, Creekside, a semi-detached holiday home, has direct access to the creek via the deck area at the rear of the cottage. It is ideally situated in the Cornish hamlet of Little Petherick. Footpaths lead in all directions down the creek to the river and along the waters edge to Padstow. Just 10 minutes by car you are in Padstow, with its winding streets, quaint fishing harbour, excellent pubs and restaurants. There are several sandy beaches close by. Lovely place to stay and very close to Padstowe. Although the All Saints trail run right past the house I was disappointed it was not accessible for bikes as had thought we would be able to bike along the path to join the camel trail, it was too dangerous to bike on the main road to Padstowe. Overall a good location to explore Cornwall and a very quiet location with lots of bird life. It took a couple of days to find information book/leaflets as they were in a cupboard and would have been better left out (only found them as trying to work out how to do tv). Painted pine furniture looked untidy as wood stain bleeding through. Lovely decking area and view.
