Great base for a holiday in Cornwall, short drive to some fantastic beaches. Only marked down slightly as you will need a car although there is a pub very close the site is on a main road with no pavement. Pool and hot tub are great after a long day exploring.

The cottage exceeded all our expectations, we stopped in the crantock cottage. The kitchen very well equipped, beds very comfortable, each bed room had its own bathroom, and the lounge to rest in at night. Location excellent and within driving of many places to visit. Another big plus was the swimming pool, which was so warm and looked after well, then the hot tub was a welcome plus to relax in. We stopped for two weeks so towels were changed after first week as was the bed lining . Our dog was made welcome and plenty of places to walk the dog on site. We have stopped in several places now in perrenporth and without a doubt this is by far the best and would take a lot to beat it, ( maybe maid service, only joking ) . With out a doubt we shall be back and planning our visit all ready. The caretaker was very helpful and there everyday to see if any thing needed doing. Just one word of caution is you have to be very alert when leaving the car park and entering onto the main road, the cars come down at a fast speed and there is a corner on the right so cars are on top of you before you realise it. Also internet a bit slow but what the heck, we managed to enjoy our selfs before the internet arrived.

Cosy little cottage but lots of room. Dogs welcome and owner couldn't do enough to help us out or advise best places to see. Good location within a decent travelling distance of some great beaches. Bear in mind if booking that pool is only open at certain times of the year - a few people commented on this in the first book, but should really have read this when booking as the info is there already! Internet sporadic but you're on holiday, so who needs it?
