A very clean well appointed cottage in a lovely area. Small low wall enclosed front garden, plenty of parking space and open grassed area around. On a single track road, not busy easy to find just a few miles from Cawdor and Nairn. Twin room a bit of a squeeze for an adult and no wardrobe but ok for children. Couldn't find any instructions on how to work things like microwave, central heating etc.. but managed. I like this area very much and usually stay at Dalcross but it is nicer this side of the main road. Fruit farm beautiful as ever, plenty of wildlife, weather kind glad of a spot of rain. Really nice cottage.

We absolutely loved our week at Craigellachie cottage. It was tucked away in a lovely little village which stunning views. Great local paths for walking with our Saint Bernard, he thought it was great too. We even enjoyed the company of Deer from the surrounding woods, just a magical experience. You have to travel a few miles to the shops if you want anything more than essentials but that was what we loved about it. We are hoping to return in the future and would recommend this to anyone.

A little gem of a cottage, 200 years old with all modern comforts. The log-burner, toasty!! I do not have GPS and found the folks in Cawdor Village Shop very helpful they gave me the most direct directions, that is after Inverness-Nairn-Cawdor routes, take the Craggie road on the bend beside the farm. Takes you straight to the door. Being an old building it creaked a little at bedtime but that's just an old cottage settling down for the night. As Arnie said, "I will return."
