Lovely cottage, welcoming owners, had really nice stay. We left our phone charger behind, not expecting to see it again but a few days later it arrived in the post, so many thanks for that!

Bought as a Christmas present for my partner for the last weekend of half term. We had a fabulous time in this beautiful cottage in a fabulous location, our third visit to Shropshire 😊 Simon and Cath were extremely accommodating allowing us to check in early and check out late. We were welcomed with homemade lemon drizzle cake, milk and a bottle of prosecco 😊 We had a lovely relaxing weekend and will definitely be visiting again 😊

It’s so clean and tidy it makes you feel like you’re the first to stay in the cottage. Short drive to shops etc but please don’t let that put you off booking. Will definitely be back!

This was our third year at Crabapple Cottage and it was as lovely as ever. It is so comfy, with so many extras, from an ensuite to each bedroom and that extra special welcome from the owners of a tea tray set with cups, saucers and the owners special lemon drizzle cake! The cottage was also tastefully decorated for Christmas and this break really started our Christmas. Whilst some people may consider the location quite remote, for us the solitude is perfect, total peace and relaxation, with amazing views as the cottage is surrounded by countryside. The log burner in the lounge is a delight and the kitchen has high quality utensils to prepare meals at home. A great base to travel as far afield as Liverpool and Chester, with delightful places to visit such as Shrewsbury and Llangollen within a short distance.

Couldn’t fault the cottage. Would stay again but do like to be in walking distance of local amenities. A lovely escape from it all.

We loved staying at Crabapple Cottage - very cosy and comfortable. It is beautifully situated and has very convenient access to Shropshire, Chester and North Wales. Simon gave us a very warm welcome - the lemon drizzle cake was lovely! Very nice touch. The cottage is very nicely decorated with everything you could need. It really felt like a home from home.

A beautiful, cosy and comfortable cottage in stunning countryside. Very well equipped . Everything you could need. The only negative was the lack of wifi, but it certainly didn't spoil our stay. Would definitely visit again and also recommend to friends.
