The cottage can be described as bijou. One up, one down. Shower very small and tight. Good location and nicely furnished. Dishwasher had seen better days!

Beautiful cottage in a fabulous location. Very cosy for 2 people. Lovely wood burning stove. Kitchen compact but very well equiped. Everything on your doorstep - great pubs and lovely walks. We will definitely be returning.

Kitchen equipment needs updating; bathroom small, cold and noisy; no coat hooks; no instructions for log burner (although we worked it out in the end).

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We are sorry to hear that our kitchen equipment was not as expected but would like to comment that it is all of good quality and in good working order. The bathroom is small but we usually receive comments on how warm the property is. There is a large isolator switch on the wall so that the fan can be turned off if a guest does not like the noise. We always leave the log burner ready laid and ready to light and we are only too happy to answer any queries our guests might have, there is a message to this effect in our welcome book. We will certainly look at the possibility of installing coat hooks.

Our 2nd stay this year in this excellent cottage. Comfortable, well equipped and an excellent location for walking and eating with 3 local pubs/restaurants within a short walk.

One of the best cottages we have stayed in.... and we have stayed in a lot over the years. Clean, comfortable and well equipped and in a quiet but central location. We normally have a few suggestions for extra equipment, but the only thing I can think of is that a couple more mugs would be useful. We hope to visit again

This is a lovely cosy cottage with all the added extras needed for a stay away. Very close to the village centre - 2 pubs and a bistro - we walked from the cottage 3 days out of 4 - so no need to move car - an added bonus. Would love to go again in the Autumn.
