This traditional Lakeland cottage is situated in the heart of Portinscale village, which lies on the northern shores of Derwentwater and 1 mile from Keswick. The village has a pub, restaurants, a tea room/shop and a marina for those who enjoy sailing. In Keswick there are many shops, galleries, pubs, restaurants and visitor attractions to explore on the rainy days. There are many beautiful mountain walks immediately accessible from Cosey Cottage, including Causey Pike, Catbells, Grisedale Pike and Skiddaw, or low level walks around the lake.
