We were delighted to have found this little gem. The lodge is perfectly situated amidst beautiful countryside. We loved the walk from the lodge down to Lyme Regis along the river. We received a warm welcome from the owners who were friendly but not intrusive.the lodge was spotlessly clean and v Rey comfortable. We would like to return.

Had a great time staying at Coombehayes Lodge. The place was set in lovely grounds and the wildlife we got to see was amazing. Great place we used it as a base to visit the other surrounding villages and towns. Stunning walks along the coastal paths.

A lovely peaceful place to stay, no traffic noise just plenty of wildlife. The hostS are welcoming and friendly whilst also respecting your privacy. There is a Tesco within 15 minutes drive and plenty of pubs to drive to for food although not all serve food all day. Very central to local tourist attractions.

After a very long journey it was great to arrive and be welcomed by Peter who showed us around and also the much enjoyed welcome pack.I can not put into words the peacefulness of the cottage,in beautiful surroundings and with an abundance of wildlife, from deer to foxes to pheasants and woodpeckers. If you wanted anything all you had to do was ask and Cornelia or David were on hand to help.We can not recommend this cottage highly enough,it is 5 star for everything listed above,we are planning to return in 2019.Thank you for a wonderful week.

The cottage was well situated with good views in nicely landscaped gardens. Bird feeders outside of window allowed views of various birds. Good walking area with well maintained and signposted paths. Very nice riverside walk into Lyme Regis takes about 40mins. One draw back was the owners dogs, one of which seemed to dislike visitors and spoiled having breakfast on the patio area or walking in the grounds, including the walk from the cottage to the boundary gate.
