We had a lovely return visit to Coombehayes Barn. We met at uni and live in Surrey, Hampshire, Pembrokeshire and Gloucestershire so it's a great place for us to meet. Our little ones loved the pool, we went for a lovely walk from the cottage to the black dog tea room for a scone. Best fish and chips ever on the beach at Lyme Regis we had such a lovely weekend. Beds comfy and kitchen so well stocked. I left a pillow there and the kind owner found it for me and sent me back the pillowcase which was very appreciated. Thanks very much!

Just the best one of these type of places we have been to. My whole family enjoyed themselves so much we might have to come back

We had the BEST weekend at Coombehayes Barn! The accommodation was beautiful - tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The swimming pool was lovely and warm and just the right size and depth for all guests. The log burner on a cold and drizzly weekend in November made the lounge areas so warm and inviting. The table football was a real hit with all age groups and the PlayStation kept the boys quiet! The freshly baked scones, with clotted cream and jam waiting for us on arrival really added to the delight of the weekend. Top marks Coombehayes Barn - we couldn't fault it and we will be back!

Fantastic stay at the cottage. Everything was there and the owners were more than happy to help on anything we needed. The facilities are excellent and although it's off the beaten track the local pub is easy to walk to and its a lovely walk into Lyme regis. The only thing I would say is if you want to order takeaway do it about an hour before you want to eat 😃 I would not hesitate to recommend this venue and will definitely be back!

Excellent design around large swimming pool. Flexible accommodation to suit most large families. Helpful owner living adjacent to barn. Plenty in building for youngsters of all ages. Lovely local walks including 2ml down to Lyme Regis; worth staying for week. We had Emma's Kitchen prepare and cook a family dinner for us - highly recommended. The kitchen got a bit tight with 12 of us around table, but it worked wonderfully.

A lovely place to stay. Swimming pool is fantastic. Everything was clean & well furnished. Plenty of kitchen equipment for large group. Beds very comfortable. Washer/dryer bit dated but still works. Lovely village pub - easier to walk to through the lanes rather than across the field of cows! Small local shop (in petrol station) not far from pub. Would love to return one day!

Well what can I say. This home was by far the best that we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was perfect. The decor was beautiful - so very well thought out. It was perfectly clean too. There were 6 adults and 3 children in our party (plus my aunt and uncle popped over for 2 nights) and at no point did we feel on top of each other. The bed linen was high quality and each room was themed beautifully with lovely cushions around the whole home! The location was perfect too. Charmouth Beach was definitely our favourite. The owners lived just behind and were very friendly and welcoming to us all. The views across were stunning. Honestly cannot say enough good words on this home. Actually I know we will be returning. Thank you for a lovely stay. If I win the lottery I’m coming to buy it off you!!! Love Lisa Shoreson (dad Bob Clarkson paid though - thanks Daddy)! Xxx

We stayed at Coombeshayes Barn for the weekend. We had the most fantastic family time. The children absolutely loved the pool and there was plenty for them to do onsite. It is in a beautiful location, we just wished we could of stayed longer. We will definitely be going back. 😀😀😀
