Brilliant location, spotlessly clean, private garden and very peaceful, could do with updating, had only the basic household essentials. Not very homely, not even a pint of milk to welcome you,a big shock to find electric meter, not told that when booking, after paying a lot of money to stay there then had to keep feeding pounds into meter was not happy with that, a shame because that has put us off of booking again.

The cottage met our requirements and was good value. We enjoyed our stay. Electric meter used about £10 during the week. Heating was very effective. Wifi great, tumble drier and washing machine too. Garden was a bit over grown but we were not in it much with the rain. Dogs appreciated the garden which was secure. Quiet location was just what we and children wanted. Kitchen utensils and cooker basic but the price reflected that.

The comfortable sofas and bed were good but I'm glad we took a fleece throw with us to use in the evening. The living room is very dark so we spent more time in the conservatory, just a shame the windows were so dirty. The cottage and grounds felt neglected.
