For the South Downs "The Dairy" represents exceptional value for money. With a wonderful rural view the property is perfectly positioned on the edge of single pub and shop village in the heart of the South Downs. For walking there was little need for the car. From cackling geese to the morning chorus this was pure country for us City Folks. Cottages are our favourite holiday and this turned out to be the best we've experienced. Just perfect.

Enjoyable time at the Dairy, our base during our walking holiday. The local area is great - easy access to the South Downs Way, etc. The cottage is well equipped, clean and welcoming. Recommended.

Friendly welcome from the owners and the geese and chickens. All properties facing away from each other so very private. Lovely outlook and close to village.

We had a lovely stay and were sad to leave. The owners were friendly and helpful as was everyone we met in the village. Idyllic, tranquil location with fantastic walks and bike rides on the doorstep. Cottage was spacious yet snug.
