The fact we have stayed in Columbine 4 times speaks volumes. You have every amenitity - the kitchen is spotless and Oven/washing machine/fridge were all used and work perfectly. The TV.DVD player in the living room is a blessing for us older folk who don' necessarily go out all evening, and there is a large selection of DVD's to suit all tastes. The main bedroom has a comfortable bed, sink and cupboard space. The spare room is small but fine, with it's own sink. The bathroom has a good shower/bath and toilet. You need sturdy legs for Ross, but everything is there for you - pubs, restaurants, shops, coffee bars. For car users the county is there for the taking. The cottage is secure (2 doors with locks) and very quiet. Recomended

We had a wonderful holiday and this comfortable cottage - good to have somewhere to sit out and hang washing and so near the town and river. We definitely come here again.

Cottage was very warm and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Good location, very peaceful and quiet. Fittings a little old but everything worked well, comfy seats and beds.

Unfortunately the weather was quite cold hence the cottage was cold as well. The linen was lovely and the bed comfortable and the location was good. I did feel that the addition of a laundry basket to put washing in to take to the line and also a small laundry drying rack to put in the conservatory for small items to dry on but I did mention this to the owner when she telephoned. The bathroom door did not close properly and had a small bolt to secure it and I felt that a proper repair to that would not go amiss but I understand that these are only small things.
