We had a wonderful holiday at Coblye Barn and it was everything we had hoped for and more. We loved being in such a rural location, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside from every window. There are walks from the door and so many places to visit within a 20-30 minute drive, such as National Trust properties, beaches and pretty villages. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed.

A lovely cottage situated in a field with ewes and lambs. The building is modern and very comfortable, within easy reach of the coast. A good base for exploring the surrounding area. The kitchen is well equipped , the underfloor heating kept the whole cottage very comfortable. There is plenty of land for walking a dog. Highly recommended for a couple with a dog. A nice touch would have been a small carton of milk in the fridge. The track up to the cottage could be difficult for a low slung sportscar.

The barn is in the middle of a field. We chose the right week - loads of newborn lambs frolicking about. Fabulous. A good barn conversion.

The cottage was great for walking without driving anywhere and we enjoyed the pheasants running around the field.it was secluded but only a a short drive to Battle and Batemans. Great for a weekend break

The best week at this lovely remote little barn, it’s perfect for a couple like us with an energetic pet pooch. Loved walking around with the pooch exploring the surrounding area. It’s so remote and peaceful and the owners popped by Just to hi and they’re lovely. The barn itself has everything you need. Lovely big bed, fully equipped kitchen and nice dining area. Constructive feedback (and it’s very tiny): Bigger tv. Put the WiFi box in the centre of the barn. Better drinking glasses. Nothing there to put anyone off booking... We will certainly be booking again!!!

The directions were confusing i.e. the five bar gate is not visible from the road and we did a complete circle. Started again and in the end pulled into a farmyard and asked directions. The sign for the barn is only visible when approaching down the hill not up the hill as the directions stated. Bed and settees not the best and the tumble drier did not work. Also the hob was difficult to use.
