We had such a lovely, lovely time. I'd go back in a heart beat... The dogs had a brilliant time on there walks... Very dog friendly place, lovely pub food in the area.. If we had to be picky, could do with a little up date, a bigger telly and when we turned up there was loads of dead and nearly dead flies and no fly killer anywhere. Could of done with a pint of milk in there as we arrived late afternoon and dying for a cup of tea, to late to go out and find a shop as we was shattered with the drive there.. Perhaps next time I'll take my own milk😀 Overall, it's a lovely quite place to be, a lovely cottage and we did feel at home.. Thank you for that!! 😘

Glorious setting if it wasnt for the fleas.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We were horrified to be told that there was a flea infestation. However, we had it checked out by a professional firm of pest controllers. They reported there were no signs of a flea infestation, but fumigated the property just in case. We had no reports before or since your stay and wonder whether you had an allergy.

We had a wonderful holiday at Coblye Barn and it was everything we had hoped for and more. We loved being in such a rural location, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside from every window. There are walks from the door and so many places to visit within a 20-30 minute drive, such as National Trust properties, beaches and pretty villages. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed.
