We enjoyed the peacefulness of the village. The cottage was very comfortable. The remoteness made it expensive to travel to places of interest and for shopping, but we enjoyed a restful week.

Comfortable cottage recently refreshed; new sofas in lounge were stylish but comfy and the kitchen was adequately equipped (bigger sturdier pans would be good). Beds in the twin bedroom are quite narrow and my daughter said some pictures would be nice for that room! Come prepared as there is no shop for miles and the pub is only open Weds-Sunday! Outside space with rabbits and cheeky sparrows is nice, as is the peace and quiet. Very good location for bird watching and enjoying nature in general.
