Set in the popular town of Wells-next-the-Sea, in a residential street, this detached bungalow is within easy walking distance of the picturesque quay and popular shopping area, with its artisan shops and cafés. This is the perfect holiday base to explore one of the most popular areas on the North Norfolk coast. Visit Blakeney, with its trips to see the seals, and for traditional seaside fun, there is bustling Hunstanton, with its wide sandy beach, traditional seaside amusements and Sealife Centre. Also on the doorstep are lots of National Trust properties and Holkham Hall, which holds many events throughout the year. The market town of Fakenham, with its horse racing, is also close by, as is Pensthore Nature Reserve. A little further afield is the seaside town of Cromer, with its famous pier, and the market town of Sheringham, along with numerous Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and opportunities for walks and birdwatching. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

    Bright and pleasant bungalow, well-located for shops, cafes, harbour and beach. Parking for 2 small cars. Lots of nice touches e.g. baby and toddler equipment, well-stocked library and DVD collection, table football. Cottage was surprisingly chilly and damp for a mild June - we had to put the heating on in the mornings. Some of the kitchen equipment needs updating. Not much storage in bedrooms. Lots of helpful pre-arrival info from owners which was appreciated, but no response when we contacted them during our stay about a couple of minor issues.

    We were very pleased with this accommodation. It looked just like the photos on the advert. We would recommend this place and would book again.

    A very comfortable base. Quiet but within walking distance of the quayside and plenty of places to eat even though we went out of season. We had heavy snow during the week but the cottage was warm and cosy.

    We loved staying here. It's clean, warm,comfortable and quiet. The owner was very helpful and the neighbours all seemed friendly. We will definitely be returning.

    Comfortable Cottage Clean well kept. Plenty of places to visit around Wells also interesting little shops in Wells. In short Wells is a good place to have a holiday

    Lovely clean well equipped cottage. Fantastic peaceful location in beautiful Wells . We would highly recommend Costal Hideout.

    We spent a lovely week at Coastal Hideout. The accommodation is comfortable, well maintained and in a good location. Secure and spacious off road parking was a real plus point for us along with the toddler/baby equipment provided. Thanks for a lovely holiday 🙂
