Romantic, rural retreat for couples, with woodburner and cycle store, Cycle Route 30 and seaside Cromer with pier close by.

Only 4 miles from Sheringham and set in the grounds of the owners’ home in 4½ acres. The three old farm buildings in traditional Norfolk flint have been converted into charming holiday accommodation with use of cycle store. Located in farming countryside the properties are at the end of a winding drive, on a lane on the outskirts of Lower Gresham. Enjoy the deserted lanes, walk the many footpaths and bridle paths. Cycle to the coast or inland into deepest Norfolk; Cycle Route 30 runs past the property. Sheringham is a short drive with sandy beaches, the main station for the Poppy Line steam railway, the ‘Splash’ indoor leisure centre, the local market, theatre and traditional shops. The Georgian town of Holt is 5 miles, with shops, artist studios, restaurants and market. The seaside town of Cromer is 4 miles, with pier, theatre, cinema, promenade and cafés. Enjoy the wildlife in the surrounding countryside, and drive along the coast to the bird reserves at Morston and Cley next to the Sea, or take a boat trip to view the seals at Blakeney Point. There is golf and fishing available nearby and within 5 miles are the National Trust properties at Felbrigg Hall and Sheringham Park. Shop and pub 2 miles.

A well equipped clean cottage home from home in a tranquil setting lots of birds eating the food outside the patio doors. Perfect base only 4 miles from Cromer & Sheringham. Would definitely go back and have already recommended it to friends.

Had a most relaxing, chilled out few days away. The cottage was comfortable, cosy and so so peaceful. We were out and about during the days with an early dinner then relaxing in front of the woodburner for the evenings with wine in hand and a good book.

Cosy little cottage. Loved the woodburner and was pleasantly surprised with the stockpile of firewood there for guests to use. Well equipped kitchen with more things than I expected i.e. teabags, sugar, milk, kitchen foil, dishwasher tabs. Plus the complimentary bottle of wine was nice. Very quiet and remote location, not much I'm terms of amenities so you'll need a car but this is exactly what we were looking for in terms of peace abd relaxation. Not an ideal place if you have a young child as it's open plan with the bedroom on what I would describe as a mezzanine so when we put our daughter to sleep it was important to be quiet whilst in the lounge. Not a criticism of the property but I'd say it's better suited to couples. The only thing I was not a big fan of was the small bathroom and lack of water pressure in the shower. Overall I was very happy with the place and would certainly come back.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. I have arranged to install removable stair-gates at the top and bottom of the stairs. I have also asked the plumber to check if the shower water pressure is low.
