This cosy cottage, set in the village of Beeford, is perfect for a coastal or countryside family break in East Yorkshire.

This cosy terraced cottage, dating back to the 1800s, has been carefully furnished to provide a comfortable holiday property. There is a roaring wood burner in the living room for winter nights and a rear courtyard for relaxing on summer evenings. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, and the second bedroom is ideal for young families, with bunk beds and a cabin bed. Beeford has a great range of facilities including a village shop, pub, Chinese restaurant and a fish and chip shop. A famous ice cream parlour, Mr Moos, is situated on a farm close by. Jet skiing and clay pigeon shooting are also available locally. The cottage provides a perfect base from which to explore the traditional east coast resorts of Hornsea, Bridlington and Filey, and the rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds. There are miles of sandy beaches and opportunities for fishing and sailing, and Bridlington Spa features an exciting entertainment programme. Bird lovers can enjoy visiting Hornsea Mere and RSPB Bempton Cliffs, and interesting days out can be spent at Sewerby Hall and Sledmere House. The picturesque market town of Beverley, The Deep aquarium in Hull and the historic walled city of York are all easily accessible. Beach 4 miles. Me, my husband and fur babies (Bailey and Molly) had a lovely four night break in this cottage. And what a lovely cottage it is. The owners have created a home from home, cosy, comfortable, warm and welcoming - what more could you ask for. Emma, the owner, was at the cottage to meet us with the keys and advice on places to go in the village. She had also left a basket with the essentials, a lovely touch. We will definitely be visiting again and can recommend to all.
