A hand rail at back door steps would be good

Great cottage with all the comfort's of home. this was our second time of staying in this cottage as suited all our needs. Would recommend to anyone wanting to explore the western highlands. The owner's are both great and so friendly and nothing is too much trouble always there but not intrusive. Clean and well looked after with a lovely flowers and bottle of wine waiting for you on arrival.

First time we have stayed in Scotland. Cottage was nice and cosy but on arrival the landlords were away on holiday, so after hanging around the main house for a while after knocking the door with no answer we were left wondering what to do. After a while a young lad came out and said door door was open and to make ourselves at home. Very cosy but some of the bulbs weren't working so replaced them ourselves. Found locals to be a bit stand offish towards us. Overall we did enjoy the week as we went various places. A good find was the pub at the bottom of Ben Nevis mountain, definitely worth a visit. Took a lovely boat trip on Loch Ness. Scenery is stunning. Weather was fab.

Property wasn't as described. It was more like a 1980's "Granny Flat" than anything else. You could hear all the noises from the adjoining house which also spread above the "flat". The only redeeming factor was that it gave a great view of the "Jacobite" steam train passing the fence at the bottom of the small garden during its season. Not the place for a quiet getaway.
