Ground Floor: Property is all on ground floor level, heated by ground source heat recovery system and under floor heating throughout and comprises: Lounge: With wood burning stove, Free view TV and DVD, stunning views over open farmland to Lomond Hill from large triangular windows Kitchen/Diner: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher and washing machine; dining table and chairs Bedroom 1: With double bed and stunning arched window Bathroom: With shower over bath, WC and wash basin.
Fuel, power, bed linen and towels included. First supply of fuel for wood burning stove provided. Cot and fire guard available on request. Access to owner’s freezer.
Use of shared garden area with garden furniture. Storage space available for outdoor equipment on request. Off road parking for 2 cars.
Cart Shed is a newly renovated semi detached cottage enjoying breathtaking, uninterrupted views over open countryside toward the Lomond Hills. The interior of this wonderful property has been tastefully furnished and is very well appointed. The lounge has two marvellous large windows affording guests no other option than to sit back and enjoy the panorama. A lovely, cosy wood burning stove completes the tranquil ambience. The compact kitchen is well equipped with the benefit of a stunning view to boot! The double bedroom has a fantastic arched window, which was originally the opening of the doors into the cart shed. The cottage is part of a courtyard, one of three beautifully converted traditional stone built properties situated on a working farm at West Newton of Balcanquhal, only 2 miles from the pretty, rural village of Glenfarg where amenities include a shop, play park and tennis courts. If booked alongside the adjoining property Mill House, an internal joining door can be opened providing access between the two cottages. This would then offer accommodation for up to 8 people. If also booked with Steading Cottage then there is accommodation for up to 12 guests. Cart Shed can be booked independently or together with Steading Cottage (524002) nad Mill House (524037) close by to accommodate extended parties.
