Very peaceful location but close to great places to eat and shop. Lots to see and do locally. Enjoyed seeing the occasional boat go past on the canal. Beeping before going over the little bridge over the canal is a good idea.

Fabulous 1st floor apartment with stunning views over fields and the canal. Stylishly furnished with plenty of space in the bedrooms and bathroom. Lovely discreet owners who run a tea shop below; handy for breakfast or afternoon tea. Horsedrawn barge trips immediately outside the building and a pub about 250 yards down the canal path and another pub about 2.5 miles further along. We don't normally visit the same place twice, but we would make an exception here as there's so much to see and do in the surrounding area, making it a perfect base.

Very warm welcome when you get there. Great hosts. The location is really good. On the one hand you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere (it’s so quiet at night), on the other the location is really close to so many amazing places to visit.

Lovely accommodation, very spacious and well equipped. Large shower room with good shower. Very comfortable bed and plenty of clothes storage. Kitchen area although small has everything needed. Great view out of living room patio doors, shame we could not use the patio because of the wasps. Fiona and Ian are great hosts, very helpful and keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely time, despite the heatwave! My Mother enjoyed Fiona's scones, watching the harvest being gathered and loved the horse drawn boat trip - details on the attached photo.
