Tucked away on a peaceful working farm and overlooking the rolling Mid-Wales hills, Corndon Pod is your own slice of countryside luxury. As the larger of the two pods at Camlad Valley, it’s been thoughtfully designed to give couples and families the perfect blend of comfort, style and space. Step inside and you immediately feel the calm; a beautifully curated interior, crafted with the help of an interior designer, warm radiators, soft lighting and views that stretch for miles. A separate double bedroom with a full-height picture window lets you wake up to the sunrise over the valley, while kids (or even adults) will love the cleverly designed full-size bunk beds. The living area is cosy and inviting with a comfy sofa, smart TV and breakfast bar, and the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for relaxed cooking. The large shower room, Egyptian cotton bedding, fluffy robes and thoughtful touches throughout make this pod feel more like a boutique retreat than glamping. Outside, your private hot tub, wrap-around decking, firepit and generous lawn give you endless ways to unwind in complete privacy, all while soaking up those stunning panoramic views.
But the story of Corndon really comes alive the moment you step beyond the decking. Set along the historic Offa’s Dyke footpath, the pod sits at the heart of some of the most breathtaking walking and cycling country in the region. Explore the sweeping ridges of the Kerry Ridgeway, climb local landmarks such as Montgomery Castle, Dolforwyn Castle, Corndon Hill, Roundton Hill or venture out to the dramatic landscapes of the Long Mynd. National Trust treasures like Powis Castle, Carding Mill Valley, Chirk Castle, Erddig, Croft Castle and Berrington Hall are all within easy reach. For adventure seekers, there’s canoeing, quad biking, pony trekking, llama walks, a light railway and even wolf watching nearby. And when it’s time to eat, you’re spoilt for choice: from the beautiful Mellington Hall on your doorstep to cafés and restaurants in Montgomery. A little further is the much-loved Greenhouse Café & Kitchen in Garthmyl. Wine lovers will adore Kerry Vale Vineyard, just five minutes away, perfect for tours, tastings or a long lunch. And if a day at the sea calls, the coast is only an hour and 15 minutes away.
Corndon isn’t just a pod. It’s a place to slow down, breathe deeply and enjoy Wales at its most magical.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 7 guests.
