A cosy living room with a warming wood burner for those chillier evenings, and another seating area in the conservatory with a comfy sofa, that looks out onto the garden, a great space to relax in no matter the weather.

Dolwyddelan is a charming village right in the heart of Snowdonia, and a short stroll from the cottage you’ll find the village shop which sells all the essentials you’ll need. A real walker’s paradise with some spectacular routes right on the doorstep to enjoy; Moel Siabod stands just North of Dolwyddelan and many Mount Snowdon routes are also only a short drive from the cottage. The village is nestled between Betws Y Coed and Blaenau Ffestiniog which is home to Zip World. In Betws Y Coed only 6 miles distance, there’s golfing to enjoy, fishing and plenty of independent shops to peruse.

Nearby you’ll also find world renowned bike trails, and areas where you can enjoy the ever-popular kayaking and paddle boarding from. Further down the coast is Conwy with many historical sights, from a UNESCO Castle to an Elizabethan Manor, there’s also a charming harbour which is home to Britain’s smallest House. There really is something for everyone in this fabulous region. Beach 18 miles.
