A private Snowdonia barn conversion with Bala Lake views, a hot tub, wood-fired sauna, play area and space for larger groups.
No smoking. Please note: This property has a £150 Security Deposit.
On the edge of Snowdonia National Park, this restored barn conversion offers space, privacy and wonderful outlooks across Bala Lake to the Arenig mountains. With no close neighbours and access to surrounding fields and the lakeside, it is a fantastic rural base for families and groups who want both comfort and outdoor freedom.
The main living space is open plan and full of light, with large windows and sliding doors bringing the scenery into the room. A handmade kitchen, generous dining table and breakfast bar create an easy setting for shared meals, while a large corner sofa and woodburner make evenings feel warm and sociable. A separate snug with a TV gives children or quieter guests their own space, and a utility and boot room is ideal after muddy walks. Sleeping up to 11, the house has five bedrooms across two floors, including king-size, super king-size, family and single arrangements. Two bathrooms and a separate WC help larger groups stay comfortable.
Outside, the garden is designed for lingering. A covered seating area, six-person hot tub and wood-fired sauna look across the surrounding countryside, while children can enjoy the all-weather play area, giant trampoline, mini football pitch and outdoor toys. Private driveway parking provides plenty of room for several cars. The nearby town of Bala is known for watersports, lakeside scenery and places to eat, with kayaking, paddleboarding and sailing popular on the lake. Walkers and cyclists have routes in every direction, while mountains, castles and coastal towns make rewarding day trips from this peaceful North Wales retreat.
