Why Us?

What we love

I chose this property because it’s part of a small group of four holiday cottages in a fab location close to a sandy beach. The shared hot tub is the icing on the cake.

There is also a larger garden area shared with two other cottages, also sleeping 2 (refs UK6584 and UK6585), together with a shared hot tub offering fantastic views out over Cardigan Bay.
Barmouth is situated on the Mawddach Estuary and boasts lovely sandy beaches making this ideal for relaxing walks along the coast, cycling along the Mawddach Trail or discovering many sights and attractions. Castles can be found all over the area at Bala, Caenarfon and Harlech. If you like to get out in the fresh air, this is great walking country, why not tackle the peak of Cadair Idris? Loved every second! It's our second holiday there and we plan a third next year. Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful part of Wales with so much to do and see.

Bwthyn Clyd was exactly as described, it was spotlessly clean, modern interior and had everything you need, Bethan the owner is a lovely person and was there if you needed anything but not intrusive. We had a perfect week thank you.

Cottage was compact but perfectly formed. Immaculately clean and very dog friendly. We have stayed in many cottages but this was right up there for cleanliness and comfort, a home from home. Fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable king size bed, a very powerful shower and loads of top class touches. We didn’t think we would use the hot tub but we did, not once but twice, fabulous. Beautiful beaches nearby for dog walks but not many other attractions or good eateries unless you are happy to drive quite a distance. Yes there is a little road noise but we live on a dirt track with no road noise and it did not bother us. All in all we would highly recommend this to a couple travelling with or without dogs. Thank you to the owners for a fab cottage and a great stay...the sun even shone in April.

Would highly recommend this cottage if you are wanting to visit the beautiful Wales. The cottage is clean, furnished tastefully and is very comfortable. The bed is so comfy with the best sheets & towels provided. You can tell a lot of love & attention has gone into it from the owners. The grounds are also really well maintained. A good base for exploring the welsh countryside & the beach is just a short drive away. Thank you for a lovely weekend

Lovely cottage. The only thing i would say, the laminated floor was very slippy for my dog. She hurt her leg. Would take a rug next time.
