Too expensive. Two bedrooms were small. Cooker was slow.

Welcomed by a friendly host who lives next door and supplied with milk, bread, Welsh cakes and jam. The cottage was in a perfect location to access the coast - by foot or by car. We were so fortunate with the weather that there was nothing to fault about our break in New Quay.

The cottage was beautifully clean and in a wonderful location and the owner was absolutely lovely. The garden and lake were beautiful. We stayed as 3 adults however if there had been anymore of us we would have struggled as there is only a small fridge with an ice box and no freezer. The single beds downstairs were extremely uncomfortable and the base broken. The Tv is not a smart TV so very limited on what we could watch. The furniture in the lounge is reclining sofas which were incredibly comfortable but if 6 people staying then it wouldnt have been adequate. Some of the handles on the windows are broken - not an issue to us at all but will need fixing and 2 lightbulbs in the bedside lamps werent working so need replacing. Only a few fixes needed to make it a 10
